The name must be distinguishable from that
of any corporation authorized to transact business in the state,
a reserved or registered name, the fictitious name of a foreign
corporation, or any assumed business name, limited partnership,
limited liability company, trademark, or service mark. The name
must contain the word "Corporation," "Company," "Incorporated,"
"Limited," or an abbreviation thereof.

The articles of incorporation, bylaws, minutes of

Tax and Fees
Annual Statements
An Annual Corporation Report must be filed with the
Secretary of State between January 1st and April 15th
of each year on the prescribed form. The first report
is due between January 1st and April 15th of year following
the calendar year in which the certificate of incorporation
or certificate of authority was issued. Filing fees
are $15.
Income Tax Rate
The tax is imposed at the rate of 6.75% of all net
income. The minimum tax is $50.
S Corporation
S Corporation status is recognized by the State of
Montana. A separate state election from the federal
election is not required.
